解碼長凳試圖鼓勵人和人和環境之間的對話與互動。椅面的方塊很容易重新排列，讓訪客可以創造圖案或表達想法，如同留下一組待解的密碼。這些不停變化的椅面圖案，見證對話，留下互動痕跡。眾人的創意和貢獻共構了串連時空的故事。

可互動的家具總是不斷變化且適性高，與人產生有趣的互動。椅面的圖案呼應不同的人、時間及空間，表達出特色及集合的故事。

家具成為溝通及互動的媒介，當訪客們表達自身的想法意圖及闡釋時，他們也參與了空間的藝術化，激發自身的創意。

Decode bench is an attempt to encourage dialogue and interaction between people and environment. Visitors can easily re-arrange movable blocks, creating patterns or presenting ideas of their own. When doing so, one has left a code to the others to decode. Traces of encode-and-decode create a constant changing image. Creativity and contribution of different people build a collective story across time and space.

Interactive furniture can be adaptive, constantly changing and fun, in responding to various conditions (who comes, when they come, where they sit, where the bench is located, etc.) to express but at the time embed a unique character of the environment and collective stories.

Furniture becomes an active medium of communication and interaction. It also intrigues creativity by inviting people to present their own meaning, intention and interpretation. People participate or even contribute to the art atmosphere of space.
